What do we do?
NHN is ready to assist and support everyone who wishes to start a company, or invest in, or develop, businesses in Holland North. We want to attract economic activity to the region and to maintain the established industries. We introduce entrepreneurs, investors and government authorities to each other, with the intention of boosting the regional economy and employment. NHN participates, whenever necessary, in developments and companies that have all the ingredients for success. NHN works with local and Provincial authorities to create the most optimal climate for attracting businesses. Whether it involves the infrastructure or a licence, NHN is at the centre of operations when it comes to realizing economic activities in Holland North.

How to reach us
By car:
If you are travelling from the south, you will reach the ring-road around Alkmaar via Kooimeerplein. Take the ring-road in the direction of Den Helder. Turn left at the turning for Bergen towards Bergen, onto Bergerweg. On Bergerweg, you will immediately come to a crossroad where you should follow the bend towards the right. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights, turning onto Jan Ligthartstraat. Follow the bend around to the left. Turn right at the end of the street. You will see the Chamber of Commerce building. NHN has its offices on the second floor in the building of the Chamber of Commerce.
If you are coming from the north, you will be led onto the ring-road as you leave the N9. Follow the road until you reach the turning for Bergen. Turn right towards Bergen, onto Bergerweg. Please follow the directions above from Bergerweg.

By public transport:
At the station in Alkmaar, take bus number 160 or 162 to NHN. Get off the bus at the bus stop "Jan Ligthartstraat". The journey takes approximately 10 minutes and it is a four-minute walk from the bus stop.
